A little bit about me, My name is Robert Hayes and I have 24 years as a Kern County Reserve Deputy Sheriff, the last four years employed with the Kern County Sheriff`s Office as a Special Deputy Sheriff. I have two lovely teanage daughters and I love riding motocycles. I am the Founder and President of Kern County 999 Foundation.

My name is Richard Garcia, Vice President of the Kern County 999 Foundation. I am a Kern County Deputy Sheriff and have been since 1996. For the last 8+ years I have been assigned to the Lamont substation. I am a U. S. Marine Corps Veteran and the proud father of three grown men.

1st Vice President - Byron Sandrini

My name is Bryon Sandrini. I am a Senior Police Officer for the Bakersfield Police Department and have been a Police Officer for 21 years. I am currently assigned to the Planning, Research and Training division. I am the Reserve Police Officer Coordinator, Taser Instructor, EVOC Instructor and one of the Background Investigators for the Department.

I was born and raised in Bakersfield and have lived here all my life, except for a short stint in Ridgecrest when I worked for the Ridgecrest Police Department from June 1991- June 1994.

Although I have known Bob Hayes for about 15 years (he can tell you how we met) I have only recently been appointed a Director for the foundation. I look forward to being involved with this great cause for many years to come.

My name is Billy Owens, I am currently a Level 1 reserve with the Bakersfield Police Department celebrating 20 years of service. I work full time for the City as a Code Enforcement Officer, and work as a Park Ranger for the Kern County Parks Department.

My professional experience includes 18 year of senior level management, and private business owner. I currently hold the position of President of the California Association of Code Enforcement Officers, President of the City employees SEIU 521 representing 725+ workers and past President of Rebuild Together of Kern County.

I enjoy The legislative process and working the halls in Sacramento.

My name is Denny Drummond. I am currently the Sergeant at arms of the Kern County 999 foundation. I am a California Highway Patrol Officer.

I have 13 years on the job. I spent my first 5 years in the Ventura Area, 2 ½ years as a commercial officer at the Grapevine Scales and currently in the Bakersfield area. I am a US Navy Seabee veteran and proud husband and father of two sons.
